The Imperial Exile
Chapter Three
1:21 PM, Tenth Month 30, 989 ABY Kalee

Isorak left the Kel Dorian, his face grim. He walked to a nearby lake, one of his favorite spots to just relax. As he walked the choices, the consequences, the rewards they all flooded his head. It was too much for the poor boy. His walk soon became a daze. Isorak began thinking on what had just been revealed to him, by a stranger. Why had the Priests kept it from him? Or where they as oblivious of the fact as he was? Who where these Foreigners? Where they Hostile to the Kaleesh? Where they friendly, like the Kel Dorian? All these thoughts flooded Isorak's mind, fleeting as if they were speeders in a race, all stacking up on each other. Isorak was overwhelmed, there we too many question, too few answers. He grew angry. How could they expect him to make a decision? He barely understood Kalee, How was he supposed to understand the galaxy?

Before he even realized it, Isorak was at the lake. The water was pristine, clear, refreshing. It was irresistible, Isorak fell upon the water like a hungry man on food, dropping his weapons on the shore, and began drinking the water. It soothed his chapped lips, entering his mouth and relaxing his throat. He went deeper in the water, letting it wash off the dried blood of countless enemies. The water was cold, but not freezing, Isorak soon adapted to it. He washed his mask, and cleaned his dirt laden hair. And for the first time since the battle, he relaxed. Clearing his thoughts, Isorak let the cool water sooth and comfort him.

After a while he grew tired of the water, and well grew tired. He exited the lake and sat down on the shore, near his weapons. The young boy laid down, the lake sand grasping his Kaleesh Garments. He tried to think, think about what to do, but he was goaded by tiredness to fall into slumber. Isorak's eyes slowly complied, closing shut easily. Soon he was asleep, lying on the side of the lake.

Hours passed, soon Kalee's sun hid behind the horizon, and day became night. Normally the night would be calm, relaxing but the calmness was broken by the shrieks of Kaleesh women and men. The cries of anguish awoke the young boy, but he was already awake, he felt something only moments before. He sprang up from his resting spot, grabbing his weapons and ran towards the cries. Strangely they appeared to be coming from his village..........
